This is the only STEAK RUB you will ever need. I based it on a product that's no longer available but is still fondly remembered and has a lot of followers in the USA--some of whom helped me cobble together this recipe. This is also used in a LOT of my other recipes here.

This will yield about 2.5 cups of rub. v2.0

Ingredients

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Transfer to a large sealed jar, store in your pantry.
  2. Sprinkle liberally over meat prior to cooking.
  3. NOTES: Use on roasts, poultry, fish or even potatoes and other vegetables prior to oven baking. Spice up stews, soups, curried egg, salads, hummus, even popcorn! How about a spicy margarita rim? The possibilities are endless! Rub some on your gums!! RARGH!!!
